Princesse Alice II Spitzbergen expedition (1898)

The Princesse Alice II, was a yacht owned by Albert I, Prince of Monaco. In 1898 it undertook a research voyage to Spitzbergen.

The log of the voyage has been preserved by the Ocenographic Museum of Monaco. Weather observations in the log are limited, but it does contain a sequence of barometer observations.
